Matt Wicking

Matt Wicking is an experienced facilitator, host and speaker who understands the power of great facilitation and purpose-driven leadership for creating change.

He has run award-winning sustainability leadership programs, designed and delivered training to community environmental leaders, supported values-based organisations to clarify their strategy and purpose, regularly speaks at events and conferences on environmental leadership, and more.

A recent feature, '12 Australian Thinkers You Should Know About', said: "As a musician, writer, presenter and facilitator his gift is making complex ideas simple and beautiful. An experience with Matt [is of a] master facilitator, an enthraller of crowds and an enchanting musician" (Wildwon).

As an highly sought after keynote speaker and MC he has hosted Purpose Conference and an array of events and as a speaking and pitch coach he guides leaders via the Funding Network.

For five years, Matt was lead facilitator at the Centre for Sustainability Leadership, delivering their 8-month Fellowship program - guiding groups of leaders through workshops and retreats, coaching and mentoring, supporting them to build their leadership capacity.

Matt combines creativity, music, humour and story, to inform and inspire and is comfortable holding challenging conversations or weaving complex threads, and will firmly but gently keep things on track.

Works with 'good people' doing 'good stuff' to make the world better. “I’m not interested in the status quo, so I bring my energy to those who want to create positive, progressive change and need a hand getting there”.

As well as being a part of the Coming To Life team Matt currently works as a freelance facilitator with Cloud Catcher.
